Professor and Mentor
– About me
Shaping Musicians Through Education
Since 2021, I have had the privilege of teaching music as a formal professor at a university level. My role involves designing and delivering credited courses that equip students with a strong foundation in essential musical topics, including music production, live performance basics, acoustics, and music theory. I aim to create an engaging and practical learning environment where students can develop both their technical skills and artistic confidence.
Beyond the classroom, I take an active role in organizing and coordinating live music events. These events are not only performance opportunities but also practical learning experiences where I guide students through the setup and use of professional PA systems and other technical equipment. From planning the event logistics to ensuring the equipment is correctly installed, I provide hands-on mentorship, helping students build confidence in managing both the technical and artistic aspects of live performances.
Additionally, I promote and facilitate studio sessions, encouraging students to explore the recording process and refine their skills in a controlled environment. These experiences bridge theory and practice, offering students invaluable insights into the professional music world. My ultimate goal is to inspire and mentor the next generation of musicians, equipping them with the tools and experiences they need to thrive in an always-evolving musical landscape.

Studio sessions
In the studio, I guide students through hands-on sessions that bring classroom concepts to life. From perfecting their performance to understanding technical setups, these rehearsals provide a space to refine their craft and develop confidence for live stages.
Live events
Live events offer students the opportunity to step into the spotlight and showcase their talents in front of an audience. I oversee every aspect of these performances, from coordination to technical support, ensuring they are equipped to deliver professional-quality shows while gaining invaluable real-world experience.

Music education at the university
As a university professor, I design and teach a range of courses aimed at equipping students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge in music. From music production and live performance basics to acoustics and music theory, these courses are tailored to foster a deep understanding of the art and science of music.
Every class goes beyond theory, emphasizing real-world application. Through hands-on projects, technical demonstrations, and collaborative sessions, students learn to connect their creativity with professional practices.
My goal as an educator is to inspire students to explore their full potential as musicians, empowering them to take the stage or studio with confidence and purpose.
Music community projects with Rotary International
Community Engagement Through Music
Music is a universal language with the power to inspire, connect, and transform lives. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am passionate about using music as a force for positive change in communities with limited access to musical resources. Through my collaboration with the Rotary Club, I have had the privilege of leading meaningful projects that bring music education and opportunities to students eager to explore their artistic potential. These initiatives foster creativity, celebrate cultural heritage, and empower young musicians to thrive and grow.
Empowering Future Musicians
One of my most rewarding projects involves organizing the donation of musical instruments to a school in a rural community in Guatemala. This effort aims to equip students with the tools they need to explore their artistic potential, while also preserving the rich musical traditions of the region. Witnessing the joy and curiosity sparked by access to these instruments is a powerful reminder of music’s ability to inspire growth, resilience, and creativity.
